Finger strip joint core construction plywood (also named recycled film faced plywood) uses processed used plywood as middle core and applies fresh veneer layers on top and bottom of recycled middle core to be pressed
into 1 new sheet of plywood. Hence the film are on both sides. Finger joint core film faced plywood is normally recommended to be reused 4-5 times only. The finger joint core film faced plywood has a better surface than the one time press plywood. The reason is that one time press poplar plywood has an uneven poplar veneer beneath the phenolic film. The most advantage of the finger strip joint core construction plywood is that its price is very competitive.
